Glacial Stream and Irrigation Trails

This three-hour guided trek follows a path cut along a glacial stream, leading halfway up toward the mouth of the glacier. The trail climbs through the rugged mountain terrain, moving alongside the hand-built water channels that sustain the valley’s agriculture.

The walk provides an up-close view of the local ecology, rock formations, and the traditional engineering used to direct mountain water. It is well-suited for those looking for moderate physical activity and a deeper connection to the raw geography of the region.
