Led by the master craftsmen of the valley, this interactive session introduces the complex art of geometric Balti wood carving. These are the same artisan skills used to decorate the historic mosques, balconies, and ceilings seen throughout the region.  

 

During the session, participants learn to handle traditional chisels and mallets, practicing the foundational relief patterns on local timber. The workshop provides a focused space to practice a rare physical trade and create an authentic wooden piece to keep.
